Don't Let Your "AHA Moment" Be a Serious Life Event.

When talking with clients who have been struggling to reach their wellness goals, I always ask them "WHY" they are seeking solutions.

I get answers like:

"I'm fat and I need a change."

"I want to be around for my kids and grandkids."

"I don't feel comfortable in my own skin."

"I want to live healthier and longer."

.

These are all GREAT answers, but to me, words mean ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

If I told you how many e-mails or messages I receive per week from people saying "I will do anything and PAY ANY AMOUNT if you tell me what to eat etc." it would make you CRAZY.

.

I will NEVER write a generic meal plan for my clients. EVER.

I provide some Sample Menu examples to help them, but THEY are responsible for creating their own meals from the foods they like according to the goals I set for them.

WHY? Because THINKING is the only way YOU LEARN.

CONSISTENTLY PERFORMED HABITS CREATE CHANGE.

You need to SHOW UP and SHOW OUT with your actions.

ACTIONS=RESULTS, but your ACTIONS determine YOUR RESULTS.

If you choose to eat fast food everyday and sit on your couch, your results will reflect that.

LIFE, is all about the choices YOU MAKE.

SOMETIMES things happen to us that are out of our control. That's just the way it is. But it's how you evaluate those situations and how you respond that makes all the difference.

SO what do I mean by " Don't Let Your AHA Moment Be A Serious Life Event?"

In the medical field the term Serious Life Event can be any of the following:

- Cardiac Event (heart attack)

- Stroke

- Insulin spikes due to Type II Diabetes (lifestyle created blood sugar issues)

Some people are lucky enough to get a second chance after having these issues, but I have seen these diagnoses go very sideways. Instead of going home to their families and a new chance to make better choices, they end up in the graveyard pushing daisies.

DON'T LET THIS BE YOU.

IF YOU HAVE THE CHANCE TO CHOOSE, TAKE IT.

IF YOU GET A SECOND CHANCE, DON'T WASTE IT.

.

If you know that you are severely overweight or just making unhealthy choices, then it's up to you to CHANGE the choices you are making.

DON'T WAIT until you are FORCED to do something to restore your health by way of a Serious Life Event.

Make the decision to put in the work NOW while it is still YOUR DECISION.

Seek Education.

Seek Guidance from trained professionals.

SEEK LONG-TERM SOLUTIONS.
