Would you believe me if I told you that just 3 days from when this photo was taken, these flowers were closed and wilted?
.
When I bought them at the store, they did not look lively, but they were the liveliest ones in the bunch, so I bought them.
.
I bought them as offerings for the goddesses who attended my debut ceremony for the Divine Feminine Healing Circle.
.
RED is the color of the ROOT chakra, our 1st energy center in the body, our grounding system.
It is also the color of love, Divine Feminine honor, and passion.
.
Each goddess who attended received a single rose that was representative of the soft, resilient, power of the Divine Feminine embodiment.
Red petals to represent the delicate nature of her loving, nurturing, vibrant, yet fiercely loving heart. Divine scent to allure and calm all in her presence.
The long green stem represents her connection to the Earth as she grew from the soil in her Earthly body. Adorned with thorns, they represent her defense mechanisms, how she protects herself , a gentle reminder to "handle with care" or you will feel the wrath.
.
The remaining flowers in the photo attended the ceremony and bore witness to the energy, magic, and healing power in the connection between Divine Feminine souls.
They were out of water for a lot of hours, and started to wilt by the end of the ceremony.
Once I returned home, I trimmed about 3 inches from the stems and placed them in water with flower food to bring back the life in them.
You see, they were not dead, they just needed NOURISHMENT. Revival. Reprieve.
Within a few hours, they began to fill up. In 24 hours, they were standing tall, and in 48 hours, they we vibrant, full of life, and opening up. By 72 hours, they were fully in their element, as you see in this photo.
.
It was a gentle reminder of what we should provide for our souls and Earthly bodies as well when we feel "wilted and drained of life".
Which brings me to the lesson of NOURISHMENT in my book of healing principles...
.
NOURISHMENT is an all-encompassing MIND, BODY, SOUL approach.
It's not just about eating and drinking, it's also about what you ingest from your environment as well.
This includes your inner and outer environment.
.
NOURISH is a multi-faceted definition in my practice.
We must nourish our bodies from head to toe, and we must do it with MINDFULNESS and INTENTION.
Nourishing means being aware of:
Our thoughts
Our Emotions
What we consume dietarily, via sight, via sound, via energy exchange.
What we watch and what we listen to have a profound impact.
.
Nature and Sound Healing
Spending at least 30 minutes in nature each day, beginning your day seeing natural light/sunlight before screen exposure wherever possible. It is also beneficial to see the setting sun and the moon to stimulate healthy circadian rhythms.
Listening to nature sounds like birds, wind, insects, and the world outside.
Grounding: putting your bare feet on the earth and connecting with the frequencies.
Listening to healing frequencies in Hertz such as Solfeggio or Rife, Cymatone, and sound bowls.
Reading & learning about things you enjoy or things you want to explore.
.
Most people focus on nutrition and fitness as the golden keys to wellness, and then become sorely disappointed when they aren’t getting optimal results, although the changes they have made have gotten them close.
You must NOURISH the WHOLE HUMAN.
This means addressing the facets in the entirety of your hierarchy of needs. (See Maslow's Hierarchy for reference.)
Choosing to place hyper-focus on nutrition and exercise alone leaves deficits in other crucial areas, such as:
Mental/Emotional
Creative/Soul Fulfillment
Intellectual
Sleep hygiene/Rest/Recovery
.
Nutrition, hydration, sleep, and stress management are very crucial pillars within the Nourishment principle, though, and should not be discounted.
All components of the Nourishment principle should be attended to, in equal balance, DAILY.
YES. DAILY.
.
This is your priority.
It is impossible to pour water into someone's cup from an empty pitcher. If you have nothing to share with others, you have nothing to share with yourself.
.
So you see, we all need NOURISHMENT, in the MIND, BODY, and SOUL to THRIVE and breathe LIFE back into our being.
When you are feeling a bit depleted, just PAUSE and become PRESENT with yourself in the moment.
.
Identify what you are feeling, and what your body is telling you it needs.
Does it need to be free from the stimulation?
Does it need food?
Does it need water?
Does it need fresh air, natural light, and nature sounds?
.
NOURISH yourself daily in order to FLOURISH.
.
Love,
H
